Band Line Up 2016

Hailing from Birmingham, The 'Home of Metal', Valous are a Five piece melodic metal band following in the footsteps of those legends that have gone before them.

Reforming in 2010 after an extended hiatus and bringing with them a new fire up their asses. This metal Five piece are set to continue their plans for planetary ownage and conversion of all who doubt that metal isn't anything but the one true path.

After more than 5 years spent back on the road, Valous have cemented their reputation as an Epic must see Live outfit playing Metal with melody and meaning!

In February 2013 Valous released debut album 'The Things You Once Knew' and spent the following 2 years touring up and down the country, gaining fans city by city.

Since its release Valous have supported the likes of Breed 77, Evil Scarecrow, Sacred Mother Tongue, Voodoo Six and Mordred and have twice headlined the O2 Academy 3 in Birmingham for Ovation Music.

In May 2015 Valous released second album 'The Devil's Seven' to a Sold Out Birmingham crowd and following a line up revision in early 2016 the tour for this record now continues, recently supporting Diamond Head at the Charity weekender event in Telford and performing at the Sold Out Breaking Bands Festival last month.

Having recently released a video for album track 'IROT', touring will continue until the end of 2016 after which a follow up EP will be unleashed upon the world.

Valous are completely overjoyed to be part of the UK’s biggest Metal festival.  It has been a pleasure to once again be part of the Metal To The Masses competition, the lifeblood of the unsigned Metal scene, and to this time secure a coveted slot at Bloodstock really is a dream come true for this band.
