Forged in the South West of England, Flayed Disciple have been delivering uncompromising death-soaked thrash metal since 2008. Known for their blistering speed, razor-sharp riffs and unrelenting aggression, the band fuse the ferocity of classic thrash with the extremity of death metal, to devastating effect.
Earning a reputation for chaotic, crushing live shows, Flayed Disciple have shared stages with the likes of Gojira, Blood Red Throne, Aeon, and Vader, and torn up festivals across the UK, Europe and India. Their 2012 debut Death Hammer became a cult favourite of the UK underground, backed by relentless touring and energetic performances – plus being given away as the covermount CD for Terrorizer that year, and giving hundreds of copies away after their BOA performance.
Bloodstock has been a landmark throughout the band’s journey: from winning Metal 2 The Masses in 2010 and playing the New Blood Stage, then storming the Sophie Lancaster Stage in 2012. To return fourteen years later in 2026, sharpened and more feral than ever, is truly an honour for Flayed Disciple.
With new EP Blistering Autolysis unleashed in autumn 2025, the band enter this new chapter with teeth bared. Still vicious, still uncompromising, and still leaving no survivors in the pit. The South West’s most savage export are back to finish what they started.
