Band Line Up 2026
Based in South Wales, Dream State is a four-piece alternative rock band. The band quickly found success after their formation in Swansea with the release of their 2017 single, 'White Lies'. This song earned them the Kerrang! Award for Best British Breakthrough in 2018 and the Heavy Music Award for Best UK Breakthrough Band in 2019.
Following some lineup changes and a brief hiatus, Dream State is back with a new three-track EP, "Untethered", which was released in February 2023. The current lineup features Jessie Powell on vocals, founding member Aled Evans on guitar, Jake Bowen on bass, and Tom Connolly on drums. The band continues to evolve their sound, drawing influences from rock, metal, pop, and electronic dance music (EDM).
