ACID THRONE

Following the release of their debut album 'Kingdom's Death' in November 2023, ACID THRONE have been pummeling the metal scene, making a name for themselves with suffocating atmosphere, crushing riffs and bellowing growls that set them apart as true harbingers of doom. Only three years in, the band have established themselves as one of England's heaviest Doom exports gaining fans across the globe.
In 2024 the band toured with Canadian legends CANCER BATS/BAT SABBATH playing a run of sold out shows whilst simultaneously being announced as the first ORANGE AMPLIFIERS spotlight artist, building a reputation as ambassadors of legendary British tone. In the same year ACID THRONE headlined a stage at London's DesertFest, where they packed out the venue to the rafters and had fans queuing round the block for a show that the press described as, 'arguably the heaviest set of the weekend’. The band also found the time to support UK heavyweights CONAN, shared a stage with international peers HIPPIE DEATH CULT and DOPELORD, then embarked on a second tour of the UK and Ireland in Autumn, helping to close out the infamous Siege of Limerick festival.
In 2025 ACID THRONE have focused their efforts on writing a follow-up to the debut album with a release planned for 2026, but have also headlined the opening party of the London Doom Collective’s - Masters of the Riff festival and made another international appearance at Iceland’s Reykjadoom festival, playing alongside UFOMAMMUT and EARTHBONG. The band also found time to headline a sold out Tonehenge - Nottingham with peers THE GREY, and played to sold out crowds at Cosmic Vibration festival in August alongside legends including HELLRIPPER, BUTCHER and ACID MAMMOTH. If you haven’t done so already, get to know ACID THRONE, as Kerrang suggests, ‘it’s clear they’re not f***ing around’.
