Hailing from the darkest corners of North East England, Blood Countess deliver a savage take on the classic second wave black metal sound. Our debut album 'Occulta Tenebris', unleashed in 2022, takes you on a blood-soaked journey back to 16th century Europe to revisit the horrors of Countess Erzsébet Báthory. Through the medium of black metal we retell the tales of the brutal history of one of the worlds most notorious female serial killers in all its bloody and horrific glory.

Since its release the band has been playing and is lined up to play select shows in the UK and Europe where we can showcase our intense live assault to worthy ears. Our live ritual captures the fury and evil of the Countess in all her blood-splattered beauty! The intensity of our live shows is something that must be witnessed, not just by black metal fans but by the wider metal community and we will endeavour to spread our music to the far corners of the earth!
