STRIKER : JUNO Award winning independent Heavy Metal from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Formed in 2007. 

Currently writing material for their 7th studio album and touring North America and Europe. 

Their 6th album “Play to Win”, released October 26, 2018 won Canada’s most esteemed music award for Best Hard/Metal Album in 2020.

Striker is a leader in the New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal movement. With nearly 300 performances in the last 2 years alone on tours supporting acts like Steel Panther, Sonata Arctica, Beast In Black, Death Angel, and many more, plus main stage slots on festivals such as 70,000 Tons of Metal in Miami, and Bang Your Head in Germany, Striker is one of Heavy Metal's fastest growing independent bands. Striker is touring aggressively and earning many accolades around the world, such as being #4 Bravepicks for 2018, Bravewords list of top albums of the year and winning a JUNO Award for Play To Win in 2020.
