BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR 2008 THE AFTERMATH

Hail Metal Brethren!

We hope you are all now safely back home and recovered from this year’s Bloodstock?

This has been our biggest & best Festival to date, we are incredible proud to see the fans enjoying three days of our blood, sweat & tears bringing a true Metal Festival like no other in the UK! We believe the line up this year had enough diversity for everyone and as always brought bands that had never played UK soil & some outstanding UK exclusive performances including our emerging talent from Bloodstock’s unsigned stage.

We are well underway organising 2009 and can already confirm we are in talks with some amazing and highly requested bands and yet again we will ensure there is something for everyone!

We have been as ever trawling the forums, reading your messages and comments and are taking everything onboard good or bad. We improved several areas this year but still consider our efforts a work in progress and will endeavour to improve year on year.

Check out our Bloodstock Myspace as we have already uploaded some awesome photos and more will be added in the coming days. The Bloodstock Gallery will very soon give you the opportunity to buy images from this year’s festival.

Early bird tickets will be on sale soon so don’t miss out on a great saving for next years festival.

From Paul, Rachael, Vicky and the rest of the team a huge thanks to you all for making this year a great experience and retaining the fantastic friendly atmosphere that Bloodstock is renowned for. Without you guys none of this would be possible and for that we salute you!

my girlfriend and i would like to say a mega big thanks to you guys and amassive well done, it was my first outdoor/live festival and the first for my gf too, it was an amazing weekend, was great too see one of my fav bands (pro-jekt) working on the main stage aswell, pitty they werent playing live on that stage.....i could go on fordayzzz about all the stuff i loved but im sure u'll have other stuff to read haha...

2008 was my second Bloodstock and my wife's first festival. It rocked. Maybe one or two more toilets in the camping areas and maybe a little more beer allowed in. Apart from that and the second stage sound clashing with the main stage if you stood a little to the right of the main. Im not moaning like a little bitch just making comments as to what could be done to make 2009 perfect. That and going for Metallica to headline. Go on guys, go for it. They'd do it!!!!!!! See you next year.
