The purpose of Alternative Karaoke is to provide those in the off-mainstream walk of life a chance to partake in karaoke for music they like. This is not any karaoke you are used to. To elaborate - If you walk into a bar or club hosting karaoke and you look in the song book, what do you think the chance is of seeing Slayer, Dream Theatre, Iron Maiden, Children of Bodon, Dreamevil or Pantera? You can easily guess the answer is slim to none. It is a sad fact that karaoke events have never catered to the metal audiences, and that all karaoke nights are actually small and sadly pointless. This is where we come in.

As a dedicated Alternative Karaoke we specialise in hosting nights where the alternative heavy genres are the focus. Naturally with this style of music, the type of event is changed from the norm. What we provide is a nights entertainment more akin to a gig. We provide a concert environment where decibels and passion for the music are as high as each other. It is a loud event and a great experience to those who choose to sing or just watch. Again it is like a gig more than a pub night, where even mosh pits have occurred.
