PROPHECY are a progressive doom metal band from Yorkshire England. Formed in
2001 The Prophecy were quick to establish themselves in the live music scene
with tours or Europe and USA. To date the band have releasedFour full length
studio albums, Ashes (2003), Revelations (2007,) Into The Light (2009) and
Salvation (2013).
Reknowned in the underground for their live performances, The band have supported, among others, MY DYING BRIDE, NOVEMBRE, MOURNING BELOVETH, ESOTERIC, REVEREND BIZZARE, SATURNUS, JACK FROST etc and have performed on stages worldwide. The band have appeared at numerous metal festivals including Bloodstock UK, Day of Darkness IRE, Dutch Doom Days NL, Moscow Doom Festival RUS, Brutalfest CU, and Midifest PRC. The bands is signed to code666 records a division of Aural music.
