BIOGRAPHY
Illusion is the world. Politics, Religions, jobs, control kinds for ones trusting in them, thinking to possess the self-determination chance. It’s typical for the human being to try functionally to explain everything happening, but that is simply an option to suicide, to try to isolate the sparkling truth inside one’s awareness: such a truth we take part of a souls crew driven by the chance, by nothing.
The more you’re trying to find the meaning, the more hope gives room to new awareness, that is the consciousness our margin for choosing and actioning on destiny is a very, very little spot of the nihilist plan of the Universe.
We take the chance to live on for a lapse of time. To stop keeping our eyes shut and to think about truth is our pride: the world and his answers are inside us and not elsewhere.
Things happen regardless of us, regardless of me and apart from me, those people are REGARDLESS OF ME.
In June 2007 guitarist and composer Emiliano Sicilia (author of the solo album – Devotion, Materialize - released in October 2006 by Horus Music / Audioglobe) has started “REGARDLESS OF ME” project.
The band presents an experimental kind of Metal - Trip Hop - Progressive music which reminds one of the typical feeling of the Massive Attack, Portishead, Dream Theater, Katatonia and Muse.
Regardless Of Me signed in january 2009 a discography contract with LOCOMOTIVE RECORDS, a big label based in Madrid (Spain). The debut album "THE WORLD WITHIN" has been released by Locomotive Records in 20 March 2009 (Europe), 24 March 2009 (USA, CANADA, JAPAN).
All the music and lyrics have been composed, arranged, and conducted by Emiliano Sicilia who is also the main guitarist of the whole project and has dealed with the programming as well. And to finish the Line up, there are Enrico Cassano (bass guitar), Fulvio Torresani (drums), and the amazing voice of Pamela Manzo.
